The training voyage will travel to Iloilo City, Bacolod City, and Cagayan de Oro City, allowing students to experience real-world hospitality operations aboard a commercial passenger vessel. Real-World Hospitality Training at Sea The onboard training program is designed to provide hands-on industry exposure, allowing students to apply their classroom knowledge in a live hospitality and service environment. During the voyage, students undergo practical training in key hospitality departments including: Front Desk Operations – Guest assistance, check-in procedures, customer service management, and passenger relations. Dining Service Operations – Table service, food and beverage service procedures, and dining area management. Housekeeping Operations – Cabin preparation, cleanliness standards, room service coordination, and hospitality sanitation protocols. As part of this initiative, an Acer Kiosk Stand has been successfully installed at the Gate 1 entrance, providing students with convenient access to essential digital services on campus. The NCST–TLC IT Help Desk System is a centralized digital platform designed to streamline service requests, improve response times, enhance transparency, and support the institution’s commitment to efficient and student-centered services. The system also aligns with NCST’s Makakalikasan (Go Green) initiative, promoting paperless processes and environmentally responsible operations. Smart Digital Access for Students The newly installed Acer Kiosk at Gate 1 serves as a key digital access point for students. Through the kiosk, students can conveniently access important online platforms and services, including: iLearn Account for academic learning resources SAS Account for student academic services Online forms and institutional announcements Currently, the kiosk is also being utilized for the Bloodletting Drive Voluntary Participation Form, allowing students to easily register and participate in the institution’s community service initiatives. Students from both Imus and Dasmariñas campuses participated to support earthquake victims in Cebu and Davao. The event featured a lively Zumba session led by Senior High School faculty members, with all proceeds dedicated to the Diocese of Imus for relief efforts. Eighteen international delegates from Miss Earth 2025 “Team Air” also joined the cause, sharing their advocacies on environmental protection, including topics such as global warming, sustainable fashion, waste management, and climate-related health issues. Through shared insights and simple actionable steps—like planting, proper waste management, and mindful consumption—the Miss Earth delegates encouraged students to create positive environmental change. With this year’s SDF theme, “Breaking the Silence: Headlines in Alliance”, Ulayaw Productions featured Kabataan Partylist member and activist Alexandrea Rey in their documentary, Sa Pagitan ng Gitgitan. Rey graced the last day of screening with a special appearance. In her address, she reaffirms the festival’s objective to promote social consciousness and dialogue among youth. The project aims to strengthen inter-program ties within NCST while promoting appreciation for the richness of the Filipino language through creative expression and media among the student body.

NCST 27th Foundation Day commences; pageant talent portion follows By: Kyra Imperial Dasmariñas, Cavite, Oct 8 – The Mr. and Ms. NCST Talent Presentation was held on October 8, 2025, at the NCST Gymnasium. The event was part of the week-long celebration of NCST’s 27th Founding Anniversary, recognizing the institution and its achievements since 1998. This special occasion also gave students a chance to relax and enjoy after a week of pre-final examinations. The program began with loud cheers and excitement from the audience as they witnessed the talents of each participant representing their respective houses. Everyone in attendance showed strong support for the performers, who showcased their creativity and emotions through various forms of art. At the end of the event, Mariz Cantorna and Jedh Castillo of the House of Makabayan earned a score of 98.33 from the judges, awarding them the title of overall winners for their performance. Their intent was to show courtship through a dance incorporating magic tricks, according to their choreographer.
